Greg Wasserman

Greg joined Generation in early 2010 and is principally involved with the firm's Climate Solutions Fund.
Prior to joining Generation, Greg led the Clinton Climate Initiative's global solar program, focused on working with governments around the world and key solar industry participants to pursue the deployment of large-scale solar energy projects.
Before joining the Clinton Climate Initiative, Greg spent 8 years at Goldman, Sachs & Co. He was a Vice President in the Alternative Energy Investing business, focused on investing Goldman's proprietary capital in the renewable energy and energy efficiency sectors. Prior to focusing on alternative energy, Greg invested Goldman's capital in the consumer and commercial finance sectors. Throughout his career, he has worked on a wide range of investments including private equity, equipment leasing, tax credits, real estate leveraged leases, bankruptcy financings, and financial asset purchases. Greg started his career at Goldman Sachs as an Analyst in the Principal Finance Group, where he advised credit card companies on strategic transactions.
Greg graduated from The George Washington University with a BBA in finance. He is also a CFA charterholder.
