Lila Preston joined Generation Investment Management in 2004 and is Head of the Growth Equity strategy. Previously, Lila was a director of finance and development at VolunteerMatch in San Francisco. Lila was also a Fulbright Fellow in Southern Chile.  

Lila received a BA in English and Latin American Studies from Stanford University and an MBA from London Business School. Lila speaks fluent Spanish.

Lila serves on the board of Nature’s Fynd and as a board observer for CiBO Technologies, Optoro and Pivot Bio. She is also on the Board of Advisors at Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health and is a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum.

Erin Beck joined Generation Investment Management in 2024 and is a member of the Growth Equity strategy. Previously, Erin worked at JLL in their Residential Capital Markets team. 

Erin received a HE Diploma in Social Science and holds a Level 3 Propertymark qualification in Residential Letting and Property Management. 

Harrison Bromage joined Generation Investment Management in 2024 and is a member of the Growth Equity strategy. Previously, Harrison worked with FLYP in their operations and strategy team and was a senior associate at AlphaSights.

Harrison received an MA in Finance and Management from the University of Edinburgh.

Tilden Chao joined Generation Investment Management in 2024 and is a member of the Growth Equity strategy. Previously, Tilden was an associate at the Carbon Containment Lab.

Tilden received a BA in Economics and Certificate in Energy Studies from Yale University.

Anna Christensson joined Generation Investment Management in 2018 and is a member of the Growth Equity strategy. Previously, Anna worked in Australia, Sweden and the UK, mostly recently at MSI Reproductive Choices as an evidence and ethics coordinator and at Perella Weinberg Partners in human resources.  

Anna received a BA (Hons) in Sociology from the University of Westminster. 

Kevin Diestel joined Generation Investment Management in 2023 and is a member of the Growth Equity strategy. Previously, Kevin was a partner at Sapphire Ventures where he spent over 10 years investing in growth-stage companies in the United States and Europe. Prior to that Kevin was at Shamrock Capital and Merrill Lynch.

Kevin received a BA at the University of California, Los Angeles, and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Kevin most recently served on the boards of Culture Amp, Current, Degreed and project44.

Dave Easton joined Generation Investment Management in 2019 and is a member of the Growth Equity strategy. Previously, Dave worked at CDC Group where he led the healthcare, consumer and technology investment team. ​Dave was also an investor at Bridges Ventures and started his career at McKinsey & Company.

Dave received a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford University, Magdalen College. Dave serves on the boards of AlayaCare, Koru Kids, Weka and M-KOPA.

Madeleine Evans joined Generation Investment Management in 2022 as a member of the Growth Equity and Private Equity strategies. Previously, Madeleine was Head of Responsible Investment and ESG Advisory at Wallbrook following a career in private equity and mission-driven businesses.

Madeleine received dual bachelor’s degrees in International Studies and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Public Administration from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Her research on impact investing received the UN Principles on Responsible Investment-Le Monde prize for responsible investment research and was published in the Journal of Sustainable Finance and Investment in 2013.

Emma Knott joined Generation Investment Management in 2021 and is a member of the Growth Equity strategy. Previously, Emma ran her own recruitment firm and spent ten years at Gerson Lehrman Group​.  

Emma received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Bath.

Lucía Keijer-Palau joined Generation Investment Management in 2022 and is a member of the Growth Equity strategy. Previously, Lucia was an associate at McKinsey & Company.

Lucía received a bachelor’s degree in History from Cambridge University.

Lydia Liu joined Generation Investment Management in 2024 and is a member of the Growth Equity strategy. Previously, Lydia worked at General Catalyst as an early-stage healthcare investor and as a consultant at Bain & Company.

Lydia received an Economics and Psychology degree from the University of Chicago.

Neha Madhotra joined Generation Investment Management in 2021 and is a member of the Growth Equity strategy. Previously, Neha was an associate at Warburg Pincus and an analyst at Goldman Sachs.

Neha received a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Cambridge University.

Khalil Mair joined Generation Investment Management in 2021 and is a member of the Growth Equity strategy. Previously, Khalil was a consultant at McKinsey & Company.  

Khalil received a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford University, St Hugh’s College. 

Florian Malidin joined Generation Investment Management in 2020 and is a member of the Growth Equity strategy. Previously, Florian was an associate at Advent International, focusing on European industrials, and an analyst at Bain Capital Credit.

Florian received a Master in Management from HEC Paris and a MSc from MIT Sloan School of Management, Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Florian is a native French speaker and fluent in Spanish.

Samuel Orley joined Generation Investment Management in 2022 and is a member of the Growth Equity strategy. Previously, Samuel was a private equity associate at Ridgewood Infrastructure and an associate at Nomura Greentech (Greentech Capital).

Samuel received his BBA with emphases in Finance, Strategy and Sustainability from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.

Rido Quimi joined Generation Investment Management in 2021 and supports the Growth Equity strategy. Previously, Rido worked at BlackRock in its family office and foundations team; Paul Capital, a San Francisco-based private equity firm; and Ritz Carlton, part of Marriott International.

Rido received a BA in International Business and Marketing from the Polytechnic University of Litoral. He holds the Series 7 and 63 designations from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).

Lucia Rigo joined Generation Investment Management in 2017 and is a member of the Growth Equity strategy. She also works on the Private Equity strategy.​ Previously, Lucia was a vice president at General Atlantic and an analyst at UBS.​ 

Lucia received a BA in Business Administration from Bocconi University. Lucia is a native Italian speaker.

Lucia serves as a board observer for Benevity and was on the board of Remitly.

Niki Rosinski joined Generation Investment Management in 2004. Previously, Niki was a sustainability analyst at Sustainable Asset Management.​ 

Niki received an MSc in Environmental Sciences from the University of Lüneburg (Germany) and is a CFA Charterholder.

Ally Smith joined Generation Investment Management in 2020 and is a member of the Growth Equity strategy. Previously, Ally worked at TPG Sixth Street Partners and at Hobbs & Towne, a cleantech and sustainability-focused executive search firm.

Ally received a BS in Environmental Science from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo (Cal Poly). 

Jonah Surkes joined Generation Investment Management in 2021 and is a member of the Growth Equity strategy. Previously, Jonah was an investment banking analyst at Greenhill & Co.​ 

Jonah received a BA in Human, Social and Political Science from University of Cambridge, Clare College. 

Stephanie Terpening joined Generation Investment Management in 2024 and is a member of the Growth Equity strategy. Previously, Stephanie was an investor at Accel, investing in early and growth-stage companies across the United States, Europe and Israel, and an investor at Financial Technology Partners. 

Stephanie received a BS at the University of Notre Dame.

Joy Tuffield joined Generation Investment Management in 2013 and is a member of the Growth Equity strategy. Previously, Joy worked in the investment banking division of Jefferies International and in the energy, environment and resources department of Chatham House (The Royal Institute of International Affairs).

Joy received a master’s degree in Physics and Philosophy from Oxford University. Joy serves on the board of o9 Solutions and is fluent in Farsi.

Jacky Tung joined Generation Investment Management in 2023 and is a member of the Growth Equity strategy. Previously, Jacky was an investment banking associate at Goldman Sachs.

Jacky received a BS from Cornell University’s SC Johnson College of Business.

Annie Wang joined Generation Investment Management in 2021 and is a member of the Growth Equity strategy. Previously, Annie was an investment banking analyst at PJT Partners. 

Annie received a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the Texas McCombs School of Business and in International Relations and Global Studies from the University of Texas at Austin.

Anthony Woolf joined Generation Investment Management in 2016 and is a member of the Growth Equity team. Previously, he was a vice president at Warburg Pincus where he worked on private equity investments across Europe, during which time he was seconded to be a member of the management team at Mercator (now Accelya). Anthony has been involved with Generation’s investments in Andela, Elation Health, Pivot Bio, Spring Health and Sophia Genetics.

He received a Masters Degree in Chemistry from Oxford University.

Koen Yi joined Generation Investment Management in 2023 and is a member of the Growth Equity strategy. Previously, Koen worked at Cooley San Francisco.

Koen received a JD and MBA from the University of Toronto.

Rose Yuan joined Generation Investment Management in 2021 and is a member of the Growth Equity strategy. Previously, Rose was a vice president at CapitalG on the investment team. She was also at Gusto leading finance, business and operations and strategy for marketing and customer experience. Rose began her career in investment banking at J.P. Morgan and in venture capital at Scale Venture Partners. ​ 

Rose received a BS in Business Administration from the University of California.
