Sustainability Trends Report 2024

The Sustainability Trends Report is Generation’s flagship annual publication which seeks to answer the question of where the world stands in the transition to a low-emissions economy. This year’s report is the eighth annual edition and takes stock of the climate and environmental crises at a global scale. Last year’s report was buoyed by the passage of the Inflation Reduction Act in the United States and by European success at countering the energy crisis manufactured by Vladimir Putin. This year, we feel compelled to write in detail about the difficulties still confronting the world as it tries to bring emissions down.
